Synopsis
Seorang mantan tentara pasukan khusus mengambil pekerjaan untuk memberikan keamanan bagi seorang jurnalis saat dia mewawancarai seorang diktator, tetapi kudeta militer terjadi di tengah wawancara, mereka terpaksa melarikan diri ke hutan di mana mereka harus bertahan hidup.

Plot
The plot revolves around Mason Pettits (John Cena), a retired special forces operator, who finds himself amid chaos when a routine interview with the president of a fictional South American country, Juan Venegas (Juan Pablo Raba), takes an unexpected turn due to a military coup. Teaming up with Claire Wellington (Alison Brie), a journalist, and facing various obstacles, the trio embarks on a jungle adventure that is as hilarious as it is action-packed.
One of the standout features of Freelance is the incredible chemistry between Cena and Brie. Their witty banter and impeccable comedic timing add depth to the characters, making them relatable and endearing. The supporting cast, including Alice Eve, Marton Csokas, and Christian Slater, further enriches the narrative, with Slater portraying Mason’s boss with just the right amount of charm and authority.
